Art School // After School is a program designed to improve access to students interested in visual arts by meeting in a student's own school. This program will meet the needs of art-interested youth to grow and be challenged in visual arts with unique projects they may not have access to in an ordinary school day. 

Tuesdays in January, February, and March in Raymore-Peculiar School District
4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7
(Bridle Ridge Elementary only for April - May session)

Lesson plans for Spring 2024 AS//AS

Week 1 - Begin Face Planters, Ceramics- low-fire clay
Week 2 - Sweet Tooth Non-proportional Candies-
Week 3 - Sweet Tooth part 2- paper mache
Week 4 - Finish the Sweet Tooth Project using paint and other surface decorations.
Week 5 - Polymer Clay Keychains and Soft Sculpture
Week 6 - Finish Soft Sculpture and wrap up any projects needing finishing touches.
